As an Azure Data & AI Architect, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our clients' digital future. You will work on defining client roadmaps, integrating intelligent processes, and planning solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, covering a range of services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Purview. What you'll do:

• Identify, document, and translate clients' business strategies and requirements into Data & AI solutions.

• Design optimal Data & AI architectures on Azure, integrating services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Purview.

• Manage client roadmaps, integrate intelligent processes into existing business processes, and plan solutions to help clients achieve their goals.

• Reliably advise clients in the complex and exciting world of data.

• Balance costs, capacities, and risks to achieve optimal solutions.

• Communicate your passion and knowledge about Analytics to stakeholders in a non-technical manner.

Skills and experiences:

• Solid expertise in Azure architecture, with relevant experience of over 10 years.

• Experience in data engineering is an additional asset.

• Skill in selecting the right architectures to optimally leverage customer data using AI, Data Azure, and DevOps.

• Proficiency in Azure services for Data & AI, including new developments like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Purview.

• Knowledge of (relational) databases, data modeling, reporting, data and delta lakes, metadata, and ETLs.

• Strong team collaboration skills and experience working with and coaching (remote) teams.

* EU citizenship, a strong requirement for this position.
* A passion for the latest developments in the Data & AI space on Azure.
* Ability to effectively communicate your passion and knowledge in Analytics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Leadership in developing solutions and the ability to guide development teams.
* Fluent in English and Dutch, essential for effective communication within multinational teams and with stakeholders.
