Business Data Analyst

To further our goal of marketing the best deals globally, we are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team and be responsible for analytical coverage of demand partners and metasearch integrations. By building robust analytics frameworks and dashboards, you will enhance decision-making processes and drive growth initiatives. You will help identify growth opportunities, test them in dozens of markets and make the best decision with the stats analysis. This role is crucial in ensuring our efforts are data-driven, leading to better deals and an improved user experience for our customers.

You will work closely with marketing, partnerships managers and product owners.

What you will do:

• Manage Partner Integrations: Oversee the performance and daily operations of demand partners and metasearch integrations.
• Data Analysis: Conduct deep dives into business datasets to uncover valuable insights and generate actionable hypotheses. Find growth opportunities and set up performance marketing experiments and model improvements. Conduct & analyze AB tests.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Transform the team into a fully data-driven unit by leveraging data for measurement, ideation, decision-making, and prioritization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers and Partnerships managers to adapt our product, build scaling plans and create a growth strategy for our partners.
• Reporting: build custom dashboards / reports for partners and business stakeholders.

The team: 

You'll be working within our Customer Acquisition tribe, which consists in analysts, data scientists & marketers. You will also be working closely with our Demand Partnerships team, technical project manager and partner success manager. You will be responsible for supporting our metasearch integrations and demand partners working alongside the technical project manager and partner success manager.

Who you are:

• You are fluent in English.
• You have 3+ years of hands-on experience - preferably in travel or e-commerce - using data to drive business & marketing decisions and strategy.
• You are detail-oriented, thorough, and precise.
• You have strong analytical skills enabling you to dive deep into the data to guide strategy or prioritization decisions.
• You feel comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Solid SQL, experience with BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
• You have sound statistical knowledge and know how to apply it in practice.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Experience in startup/fast-paced environments is a plus.
