Mason is the only fully managed infrastructure for developing and delivering dedicated devices. We make it easy for anyone to turn an idea into a smart product and ship it to anywhere in the world. Our mission is to enable our customers to create smart and sustainable products on behalf of humanity.
Mason is looking for a dynamic leader to build an amazing business in our electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA) and clinical trials market. We have established a strong product-market fit in eCOA and are looking to establish clear market ownership across the remaining enterprise accounts in the vertical. If you want to establish new sales and solutions, set the tone for what great looks like, and win in new markets that aren’t already full of rigid “just read this script” structure, we want to talk to you. You will be a key sales and solutions leader for us in this market. We are results focused and back winners. This is a unique opportunity to come in at the ground floor level of a startup and make a huge dent in the business, working closely with advisors, investors, and our executive team.
As a forward-thinking entrepreneur, you thrive in fast-paced environments where scrappiness and hard work are celebrated, and you possess a unique blend of technical expertise, solutions selling, leadership skills, and business acumen to deliver exceptional customer growth.
You will be joining colleagues with a solid combination of grit, smarts, ingenuity, and diverse perspectives (and more)!
What you’ll do
- Solution Selling: We are closing big deals here. This requires a consultative and solution based approach. You’re not afraid to present compelling value propositions and tailored solutions to address client needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products/services and their relevance to the clinical trial industry.
- Grow eCOA Revenue: Pursue and close new business with new logos in the clinical trials market. Leverage existing professional networks and advisors, clients, partners and key stakeholders identified by Mason to build strong relationships to drive business growth. Negotiate and close business deals, contracts, and partnerships.
- Provide Market Intelligence through Customer Advocacy: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the clinical trial space, leveraging insights to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Participate in digital and in-person industry speaking engagements as a moderator and/or as the subject matter expert.
- Drive Results Focused Sales Performance: You don’t just talk the talk but are happy to report out and show others how you are on the leaderboard for both results (output) and effort (input).
- Build and Scale the Sales Motion: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies where few exist today across sales stages and through various channels and partners.. Share your best practices with colleagues. Â
What you bring to the table:Â
- History of Success: Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota in enterprise sales, with a focus on the healthcare, life sciences, or clinical trial industry.
- Contacts: Deep understanding of the clinical trial landscape, including knowledge of key stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and industry trends. Proven capability in building strong relationships and executive sponsorship across organizations
Domain expertise: Clinical trial domain expertise or deep understanding of global operations and logistics and the associated buyer personas needs.Â
- Results Focus: You like scoreboards. You have a desire to win and win as a team. You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven attitude in growing the P&L.
- Self-motivation: High level of self-motivation and initiative, with a strong drive to exceed targets. You have a keen sense for ROI and problem solving.Â
Analytical: Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies to win customers.
- You Thrive in Ambiguity: We are a startup and there is a lot that you will get to define rather than have defined for you. That should sound exciting to you.Â
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a relevant field, and/or skilled (6+ years) in management consulting or advisory roles and a proven track record of successfully selling and delivering a minimum of 2 consulting programs
