Business/Financial Management Analyst

LS Technologies, LLC is seeking a Business/Financial Management Analyst to support LS Technologies, LLC Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer located in Washington, D.C. The individual will manage and track financial aspects for all budget appropriations, authorizations, obligations, and expenditures, to include both Facilities and Equipment (F&E) and Operations funding sources.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains control and oversight of the formulation and execution activities; to include requirements gathering, analysis, classification, prioritization, distribution, funds certification, financial tracking, and reporting.
• Support the processing and management of Reimbursable Agreements (RAs) in the FAA Toolset
• Maintain, improve, and communicate the Integrated Funding Process (IFP)
• Interact with Program Managers, Engineers, Contracting Officers (CO), and Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs) and other FAA stakeholders
• Identify and implement process improvements to financial and business operations
• Extract and organize data for business management support and analysis from multiple systems/tools including BPMS, Delphi, REGIS, and Procurement Request Information System (PRISM)
• Support execution processes including financial reporting
• Support the production of deliverables, ad-hoc reporting and task related administrative functions
• Support and provide business and financial management training
• Analyzes trends and developments in planning, programming, and budget execution in order to develop recommendations concerning the execution of a number of separate and substantive program accounts. Provides expert guidance, instruction, and recommendations to address diverse, complex issues that often cross organizational boundaries.
• Performs budget and planning integration in support of efficient management and fiscally responsible business operations. Projects consolidated short and long-term needs; prepares budget justifications and financial plans; justifies resource requirements in order to meet cost performance goals.
• Conducts comparative financial analyses, financial modeling and forecasting, and other statistical qualitative studies to provide trends, projections, and recommendations.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience as a business or financial management analyst
• Experience with DELPHI and PRISM
• Experience with Integrated Funding Process (IFP)
• Experience with FAA NAS systems strongly preferred;
• Experience or ability to conduct integrated analysis of:
  • Operational and business shortfalls,
  • Trade space and alternatives,
  • Outcomes and benefits realization,
  • Overarching risk to achieving outcomes
• Must possess exceptional analytical, writing and communication skills;
• Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities is required;
• Ability to effectively initiate action, collaborate with others, and drive action items to resolution;
• Proficiency in developing and presenting, both verbally and in writing, technical information and presentations to non-technical audiences;
