Business/Financial Management Analyst

LS Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Business/Financial Management Analyst to support LS Technologies, LLC Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer located in Washington, D.C. The individual will manage and track financial aspects for all budget appropriations, obligations, and expenditures for OPS funding sources.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as senior budget analyst providing and coordinating a wide variety of management functions pertaining to the creation and execution of the annual OPS budget.
• Assists in the preparation of the annual OPs budget, the execution of this budget and any reviews or data calls to adjust or revise the budget and other budget reporting requirements.
• Analyzes trends and developments in planning, programming, and budget execution to develop recommendations concerning the execution of a number of separate and substantive program accounts.
• Performs detailed analyses regarding program progress and utilization of resources.
• Plans, analyzes, and reviews major programs associated with mission and customer funded programs.
• Provides budgetary data on program status.
• Performs budget and planning integration in support of efficient management and fiscally responsible business operations. Conducts comparative financial analyses, financial modeling and forecasting, and other statistical qualitative studies to provide trends and projections.
• Develops a weekly report comparing program's Purchase Requests with FAA financial data and ensures all discrepancies are addressed.
• Coordinates the Budget Formulation Process and coordinates its entry into BPMS.
• Reconciles obligations with official accounting data.
• Reconciles program data in all FAA financial systems monthly.
• Formulates a draft annual spend plan and tracks the status of expenditures against the plan.
• Creates Purchase Requests for multiple programs and/or F&E transactions.

Requirements

• Relevant bachelor's degree
• 8 or more years of experience as a business or financial management analyst
• Expert experience and knowledge with FAA financial management systems (DELPHI, PRISM, REGIS, and BPMS) preferred
• Must possess exceptional analytical, writing and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities is required
• Ability to effectively initiate action, collaborate with others, and drive action items to resolution
• Proficiency in developing and presenting, both verbally and in writing, technical information and presentations to non-technical audiences
• Ability to communicate with upper-level management and provide solid, efficient and fiscally responsible information.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
