Job Description

The Position

As an Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific you have the unique opportunity to work on advanced technology that is redefining the field of electron microscopy. You will be part of a highly skilled team, working together with industry experts to improve procedures for electron microscopes and their accessories. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the efficiency of our factories and service centers, ensuring efficient performance and outstanding outcomes.

Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:

• Working in compliance with legislation and IMS
• Designing of alignment procedures for electron microscopes and their accessories
• Testing existing automatic algorithm to make them faster and more robust
• Documentation of development work, creating unit and regression tests
• Maintaining development tools and other technology in good shape
• Fulfilling another various tasks based on manager's instructions

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary technical environment to solve complex technical problems.

• A University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience will also be considered
• Good understanding of software development processes and tools as C#
• Knowledge of image processing algorithms
• English knowledge B2 and above
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to balance your work between development, maintenance, and bug-fixing, ensuring the smooth operation of our software
• Eligible for passport and able to travel
