Using digital tools, this team builds relationships with our existing and new small business and consumer clients and helps identify bank products that will address their growth and pain points. You will work with your clients primarily over the phone or using other digital methods and they will consider you their go-to for questions about all their banking needs and will refer other businesses and consumers to you based on your stellar relationship building skills. What are we looking for?
We are seeking a proven, highly motivated, sales minded individual with at least two years of banking experience to help us grow our small business and consumer banking portfolio in loans, deposits, cash management services and wealth management.
What will your day look like? You will be:
- Making outbound sales and service calls to prospective and existing bank clients to generate and service a wide variety of business and consumer loans along with other bank products and services.
- Contributing to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting additional banking products.
- Aggressively seeking and obtaining quality new business through client and prospect referrals and cross selling efforts.
- Expanding client base by sourcing new relationships and cross-selling bank products and services to new and existing relationships.
- Assisting clients with product offerings, selection, loan application processes and opening accounts via phone.
- Generating qualified referrals while following operational policies and procedures and adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Providing support to team members as needed.
- Assisting with department projects and tasks as needed.
Who should apply?
We want someone who has:
- A High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in inside sales, branch and business banking, credit lending and analysis, customer service or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Working knowledge of sales, lending, credit analysis, customer service, retention skills and banking products and services.
- The ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
- Familiarity with the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
- The ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
- Great customer service, problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Initiative and ability to recognize opportunities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office software, especially Word and Excel.
