Nurse Practitioner, Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology

The Sections of Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking an Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Neuro-endovascular team. The NP will work closely with the staff physicians in Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology and with referring physicians to treat vascular diseases of the central nervous system and to provide appropriate care to patients, including performing history and physical exams, ordering, interpreting, and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic tests, assisting with same day pre-procedural evaluations and discharges, coordination of periprocedural care, obtaining consent, and providing education to patients regarding plan of care. The APP will be involved in instructing medical students, residents, and fellows, and a Faculty Appointment at The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth will be requested. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively. Experience in neurosurgery, neurology, and/or interventional radiology preferred. This is a full-time day shift, benefited position with no call and no weekend responsibility.
