Responsibilities Valley Hospital Medical Center Located in the heart of Las Vegas, Valley Hospital Medical Center is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including advanced cardiology, neurology, surgery and more. Job Description: Position is responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Position performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Qualifications Job Requirements: Education: Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and certification. Experience: None Required-but preferred License/Certification: Current C N A license in the State of Nevada and current BCLS Certification are required. Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
