As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Hyperproof, you will play a pivotal role in our executive team, spearheading the development of our technology vision and its predictable execution with high quality and increasing efficiency. You will be instrumental in shaping our technological vision, driving innovation, and ensuring our technological infrastructure aligns with our business objectives. This role demands a visionary leader with profound technical expertise and a proven track record in leading technological advancement within a rapidly growing enterprise SaaS software business. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Technology Strategy and Execution:
- Contribute to overall corporate strategy and define a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead product and development execution towards strategy and KPIs
- Foster agility, quality, and predictability in processes while optimizing operations
- Establish and maintain dashboards for transparency and alignment with OKRs
- Oversee the development and deployment of innovative products and features that meet the evolving needs of our customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Champion best practices in product development methodologies and processes to optimize efficiency and quality
Communication and Collaboration:
- Enhance cross-team collaboration and understanding of technology plans
- Act as the technical face of the company, regularly communicating with customers
- Leverage professional network to drive innovation and foster technological advancements
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance our technological capabilities and drive business growth
- Collaborate with external partners to leverage complementary technologies and expand our market reach
- Contribute to closing and retaining key customers through vision, execution, and customer focus
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class technology team, fostering innovation and collaboration
- Set clear objectives, drive performance, and cultivate an environment for professional growth
- Anticipate challenges, proactively create solutions, and ensure optimal team performance
- Conduct effective workforce planning and upskilling initiatives
Financial Management and Ownership:
- Manage the budget, oversee resource allocation, and execute budget planning processes
- Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements while maintaining quality outcomes
- Provide financial analysis and reporting on technology expenditures, identifying areas for optimization and investment
- Conduct effective workforce planning to ensure resources align with business outcomes

- Measure and Improve quality, predictability, and throughput across all facets of the technology function
- Cultivation of a high-performing technology team with strong employee satisfaction, low attrition rates, and effective talent acquisition and management practices
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven track record of at least 15 years in senior leadership roles within technology
- Extensive experience in building and leading high-performance technology teams
Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to devise and execute technology-driven strategies
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding technological objectives and revenue targets
- Proficiency in SaaS and subscription-based revenue models
- Experience leading and managing technology teams in a distributed remote environment
- Action-oriented leadership style with a proven track record in driving positive change and fostering accountability
- Experience operating a multi-million dollar people and technology budget efficiently and effectively

We are a fully remote company, enabling us to attract top talent regardless of geographical constraints.
