The C-suites of hundreds of Fortune 500 companies, major agencies, trade associations, nonprofits, and governments use Applecart to put their best content in front of business critical decision makers and those they trust — from policymakers and investors to CEOs, key employees, members of the media and more. Decision makers are informed by what they read, learn from advisors, hear from colleagues, and discuss with family and friends. To break through to them, you must reach them through the only channel that really moves them: those they know and trust. Applecart’s platform uses publicly available or fully permissioned data to map billions of social relationships between nearly every American adult and enable clients to deliver content directly to decision makers and those that matter most to them.
We are hiring a Client Services Fellow in our New York City office.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for coordinating projects contributing to major marketing, communications, digital advertising, and analytics efforts on behalf of some of the country’s most prominent companies, trade associations, nonprofits and advocacy organizations. In this role you would help to communicate the value and impact of Applecart’s unique targeting to support clients across their corporate reputation, public affairs, and B2B marketing opportunities and challenges. You would work with a talented team of strategists, data scientists, and analysts who, together, impact marketing campaigns and policy outcomes for Applecart’s high profile clients. This is an entry level, full-time, 6-month contract position paid hourly with potential to convert to a full-time position.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a core team member on select accounts; coordinate with colleagues to manage project timelines and delivery process; join client and partner calls
- Draft eye-catching materials and reports for clients
- Stay abreast of developments in the industry, research trends in the news, conduct market research, and inform both client objectives as well as Applecart’s business and product development priorities
- Contribute to strategy for major marketing, advertising, and advocacy efforts
- Communicate clearly, comfortably, and expertly about the company’s product offerings, verbally and in written form
Experiences and Capabilities You Bring:
- Strong interest in marketing, communications, advertising, business, management consulting, public policy, economics, international affairs, technology, data analytics, or a related field
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple tight timelines while maintaining a cool confidence
- Proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and superior organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to client services and project management
- Understanding of best practices for measuring and reporting on the performance of digital advertising campaigns
- Digital advertising campaign experience with major platforms (Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Search, and Twitter Ads)
- Understanding of the operations of a digital, marketing, communications, analytics and/or political consulting or public affairs firm
- History of being a self-starter
This is a hybrid role. Work from anywhere on Monday and Friday and in Applecart’s New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.Â
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is $28/hr. The pay rate provided for this role is specific to candidates located in the New York City area.
