Job Description

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Analyst to join our Commercial Team in Berlin, reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Manager. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between our Finance, Product, Tech and the Commercial Management teams. Your primary focus will be to help drive the enhancement and simplification of our provider reconciliation processes across all transport providers. By leveraging data-driven tools and automation, you will help ensure the scalability of our business and contribute to its ongoing growth.

Responsibilities

Reconciliation:

Reconcile all transport provider transactions, investigate and explain discrepancies. In the event of discovering any system issues, log these with the relevant team and follow the bug lifecycle to completion, including testing of fixes and rolling them out to production. 

Invoice Approvals:

Ensure the timely monitoring, checking and approval of all transport provider invoices for the commercial management team. Manage the process for discrepancy handling. 

Identify and Implement Process Improvements:

Proactively seek opportunities to enhance commercial processes, focusing on scalable solutions that drive company growth and efficiency.

Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Facilitate seamless collaboration across teams to optimize product offerings and maximize the commercial potential of both existing and new global partnerships.

Leverage Technology for Team Success:

Drive the commercial management team's performance by integrating advanced technologies and innovative processes that enhance operational excellence.

Champion Data-Driven Decisions:

Serve as the key data expert and primary resource for the Commercial Management team, delivering actionable insights to guide decision-making while upholding the highest standards of data integrity.

Process Expertise and Documentation Management:

Develop a deep understanding of business processes and systems, recognizing their relationships and potential impacts on projects. 

Document outputs clearly and structurally to ensure stakeholders can review, provide feedback, and approve effectively.

Adhoc/Other Commercial Operations requests/tasks :

Handles ad-hoc requests for various types of analysis, as expected being part of an operations team. 

Additionally, adapts to the dynamic nature of operational demands to provide timely insights and support.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Operations within a fast-paced B2C tech environment.

• Proven ability to simplify complex processes and data sets, transforming them into actionable insights that drive positive change.

• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration, with a strong understanding of technology and product development.

• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and results-oriented approach. A radical focus on customer-centricity, coupled with persistence, attention to detail and reliability in execution.

• Highly motivated and energetic, with a strong tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to independently navigate business challenges.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and a good working knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Alteryx is a plus.

• Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
