This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A pre-employment physical is required.
- Individual must possess and maintain a valid State of Colorado driver's license to permit operation of government passenger vehicles and/or pickups in the performance of duties.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I) upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17-Nov-2011.
- One year of probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience in work order management, project scoping, and customer service; 2) experience coordinating activities and documents with contractors, end users, stakeholders, technical experts, and contracting agencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

- This position is a TERM position not to exceed 13 months. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
- A Term Appointment does not offer career or career-conditional status in the competitive service.
- Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.
- This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour. You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent.
