The Job/What You'll Do:

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing the AssetMark story to life through rich thematic, brand, and targeted content delivered across AssetMark's paid and owned channels. You will work closely with the broader Marketing team to develop and execute a cohesive content strategy levering social media, search, and web to attract leads and grow our customer base. This includes ongoing development and expansion of content and campaign ideation, analyzing and reporting on marketing KPIs while tracking to established goals.

The Content Marketing Manager will be part of the Advisor Success Marketing team, reporting to the Director, Client Acquisition Marketing. This role will work cross functionally with teams across the company to support content marketing needs. This role will manage the development of content for social, display, search, and web, and keep the team and stakeholders informed of relevant best practices and technology.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our office locations in either Concord, CA, Chicago, IL, or Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Content Marketing Manager include:

  • Create and manage the lead generation content strategy and roadmap, developing and executing marketing content in a variety of formats aligned with the overall brand and marketing campaign strategy to drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and sales across high-profile platforms, including social, search, media, and web.
  • Own the ongoing development and effectiveness/reporting against the content strategy by executing and then analyzing original campaigns, content and creative, strategic partnerships, and collaboration with internal marketing teams and outside agencies.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Creative teams to own and execute the content marketing calendar across platforms, developing broad and more targeted content to achieve specific KPIs, manage evergreen marketing campaigns and supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Identify paid and organic media expansion and growth opportunities and develop specific campaigns, content, and channel expansion plans to keep AssetMark at the forefront of new client acquisition and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors, acting as subject matter expert within the company to make recommendations regarding potential strategy changes and adoption of relevant techniques.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven track record of creating content for successful paid and organic digital marketing campaigns through social media platforms, search, display, and web
  • Knowledge of best practices for acquisition platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook), Google/web
  • Analytical and experienced in A/B testing, landing page optimization, and SEO
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills (high EQ)
  • Ability to express ideas clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational leadership
  • Critical thinker and highly data-driven
  • Bias for action to problem solve and get things done
  • Excitement for learning, open to new experiences and challenges in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA or master's degree in relevant field preferred
  • 5+years' experience in B2B marketing; financial services experience highly preferred
  • Experience using HubSpot and Google Analytics, and knowledge of marketing technologies, including Vidyard, Salesforce, Hootsuite

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $100,000-$120,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
