To strengthen our Tolling & Business Operations department in Italy, we are currently hiring a

Contract & Business Support Lead (m/f/x)

Part-Time (60%) / Permanent Position

The Opportunity

As the Contract & Business Support Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless business operations by managing supplier relationships from selection through to purchase order confirmation. Your responsibilities will require strong negotiation skills and an ability to finalize contracts meticulously, adhering to global SOPs, local work instructions, legal standards, and system processes.

In addition to these core duties, you will also assist the Head of Tolling & Business Operations with key activities such as overseeing congresses, budget management, and liaising with IT, while collaborating closely with various departments.

The Role

• Supplier Management: Collaborate with Global Commercial Sourcing to manage supplier contracts in alignment with company policies and drive automation improvements.
• Contract Creation: Develop Master Service Agreements for selected suppliers in partnership with the Legal Department.
• Buyer Oversight: Ensure supplier approval within the system and confirm that only authorized suppliers are utilized.
• Budget Control: Support the Head of Department in preparing and managing the Tolling Budget, tracking costs in collaboration with the Finance team.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Diploma or University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Buyer Office Management or Business Support, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry or within a multinational company.
• Fluent in both Italian and English.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP (SD Module) is required.
