Job Description
Stellar Science is seeking to hire an experienced Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) for government sponsored programs. The CPSO will be responsible for maintaining a fully compliant, top notch security program in a software development environment and culture that's closer to Google or Apple than to Lockheed or Boeing. The CPSO will work on-site in uptown Albuquerque, NM. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Duties Include:
- Ensure compliance with applicable security policies and requirements
- Adherence to contract specific communications requirements
- Management of information and information systems
- Personnel Security administration, clearance processing, monitor and document employees' reporting requirements
- Physical security of the facility
- Visitor controlÂ
- Storage and handling of classified materials per contract specifications
- Security education and trainingÂ
- Serve as the Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO), backing up and supporting the overall security program as needed
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience managing an Industrial Security Program or 9-10 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)/Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)
- Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) – 503, 704, 705
- DISS/NBIS and other personnel security systems, e-QIP, NISS, DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4
- Interfacing with government SSOs/PSOs for access nominations, development/accreditation of secure facilities, accreditation of secure IT systems, and interpretation of classification guides
- NISPOM
- Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Closed Area construction
- The Information System Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
- NISP and DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments
- COMSEC
- Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG)
- DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM)
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Tier 5 eligibility required at time of hire, CI poly within the last 5 years preferred
