Copywriter (US Audience)

Fresh Prints (www.freshprints.com) is an NYC-based custom apparel startup. We are one of the fastest-growing brands in the US with over 60% growth rate in the last decade. Our people are a critical factor in helping us achieve this growth.

As our Revenue Copywriter, you will be in charge of driving the growth of our $40 million business using highly effective, clear, and concise copy. This role is perfect for someone who has at least 1 - 3 years of experience with copywriting for US audiences. For the right person, this role offers an uncapped opportunity.

We’re looking for someone who is willing to take ownership of their work, is super attentive to detail, is proactive, and has solid communication skills.

Description of the Role

• Craft high-converting short-form copy by collaborating with graphic designers and the revenue marketing team.
• Collaborate with the sales team to write persuasive sales copy, aiming to move customers through the marketing funnel.
• Transform broad marketing campaign concepts into compelling marketing assets that capture attention while maintaining brand voice and clarity.
• Create and/or edit content for the internal team, ensuring brand voice consistency as needed.
• Work with the team to generate fresh revenue-generating marketing content ideas on a regular basis, contributing to the company's growth.
• Stay updated on social media trends and the evolving language and culture in the USA to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
• Maintain and update the Fresh Prints language brand guide, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
• The Unknown - we're always looking to find new ways to improve and we also want you to take ownership of projects you think can add value to.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience writing for US audiences
• Fluency in English 
• Comfortable collaborating with the broader team
• Comfortable working in an Agile marketing structure
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong time management & prioritization skills
• Detail-oriented and meticulous with work
• Self-motivated and excited to work on different projects

• Monday - Friday
• This is a salaried role, not an hourly role. However, to help coordinate across time zones of different teams, we ask that you be available for any meetings from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM Philippine Standard Time i.e. 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM Indian Standard Time.
