Corporate Systems Engineer

The Role

As a member of the Corporate Systems IT Infrastructure support team the candidate will be responsible for administering and managing the Windows Servers, Messaging, SharePoint, Citrix VDI Environment & NetScaler’s, M365, Intune and Azure Tenant.

The ideal candidate will Assist with engineering of new applications/infrastructure components to support the business. The role will also need to have significant experience with cloud technologies, i.e., Azure and AWS, with moving workloads to the cloud and migrating to Microsoft Modern Workspace i.e., M365, Teams, etc.

How You’ll Help Take Us There 

• Perform Windows Administration functions such as server installations, patch management life cycle and support of the operating system
• Support MS Exchange 2016 infrastructure, including but not limited to load balanced CAS array and multi-site DAG in DAC mode along with a hybrid M365 deployment
• Support mail gateway environment such as Cisco Iron Port, Proof Point etc.
• Support and maintain the M365 environment.
• Support Citrix VDI Platform along with Citrix NetScaler’s
• Support Delinea PAM Solution
• Provide AD, GPO & LDAP integration support
• Manage M365 & Intune and Azure Tenant workloads through ARM and automation
• Monitor and troubleshoot messaging servers (Exchange 2016 On Prem and Cloud, and Intune MDM Management)
• Automate routine maintenance and housekeeping on hardware, software and Windows servers for optimal performance and system availability utilizing PowerShell/Python
• Follow security best practices, be familiar with CIS benchmarks and controls
• Create and maintain system standards and operating procedures
• Ability to work with systems owners to gather technical and design requirements
• Provide after-hours related support as needed

What We’re Looking for  

• 3+ years in system engineering & virtual platform experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in Citrix VDI Platform with NetScaler’s
• 3+ years’ experience managing M365, SharePoint Online and M365/Azure subscriptions and supporting hybrid messaging and collaboration environments.
• Minimum 3 years experience on the following: MS Windows 2012/16/19, MS Exchange 2016, Scripting, Active Directory, MS Intune, M365 Administration
• Prior experience in a Windows Administrators role
• Experience performing a migration from on-prem Exchange to M365, Azure Cloud, Intune and administration both on prem Exchange Hybrid and M365 environment.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and/or Python
• Ability to research and recommend innovative and where possible, automated approaches for systems administration and IT related tasks
• Demonstrated focus on on-time project/solutions delivery 
• Proven track record in adaptability, teamwork, problem solving, strategic thinking, and change management 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Knowledge of administering and automating workloads into the cloud i.e., Azure and AWS for both IaaS and PaaS and their corresponding security controls
• Knowledge of Automation tools such and Ansible, and ability to package desktop applications
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (OSI)
• Excellent documentation and communication skills as well as the ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,000 USD to $165,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
