Role Summary
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager you will be responsible for cash collection from previously invoiced sales for Distributors. The Credit Control Team are responsible for reducing outstanding debt and continually hitting DSO targets. Working closely with various other teams to ensure timely collection of cash including but not limited to: the Commercial Finance team, Sales teams and Order Management team.Â
Shift timings – 9AM – 5:30 PM (UK Time)
What you will do
- Responsible for collecting outstanding debt for global distributor accountsÂ
- To ensure outstanding payments are collected in a timely mannerÂ
- Posting incoming paymentsÂ
- Cash ForecastingÂ
- Bank reconciliations.Â
- Monitoring the Credit Control inbox daily
- Creating Partner & Distributor accounts in Salesforce and SAP
- Sending out invoices/credit notes, monthly statements, and final demands for payments.Â
- Develop key relationships with partners and distributors to ensure timely payment of invoices.Â
- Set up and initiate meetings with partners and distributors to resolve any issues relating to the maximisation of cash collection.
- Conduct regular credit analysis to assess customers credit worthiness.Â
- Dealing with partner and distributor queries
- Liaising with the Sales and Order Processing teams regarding queries, credit accounts, and order disputes.
- Any other duties that are reasonably required from time to time.Â
- Help the team achieve DSO targets setÂ
- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone & email
- Recovery of outstanding debt
- Overseeing a large volume of debtors globally
- Support credit control team to help achieve monthly collection targets
- Other Ad hoc duties
What you will bring
- 2-4 years of experience in Credit Control-Business to Business
- Strong communication skills / inter-personal skills and influencing skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- SAP and Salesforce experience
- Excel proficient
- Excellent customer service – including written and telephone
- General administrative skills
- Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and wishing to make a difference
- Team playerÂ
