Critical Care Specialist: Join the Renowned Oklahoma Heart Institute’s CV ICU Team in Tulsa

The premier Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI)- home to a nationally-recognized cardiac program, is seeking a highly-skilled BE/BC Critical Care Physician to join its extensive Cardiovascular (CV) ICU team in Tulsa, OK.

The ideal candidate will have independent ECMO management and LVAD management experience in addition to ECMO cannulation proficiency, working in concert with CT Surgery and Vascular Surgeons. *Those with ECMO experience open to cannulation training will also be considered.

About Your Work:

• Join an extensive team including 3 Intensivists, 8 CVICU APPs, 21 Cardiologists, 26 Cardiology APPs, 2 Advanced Heart Failure Physicians, 5 Advanced Heart Failure APPs, 3 CT Surgeons, 2 Vascular Surgeons, CVT 14 APPs, and an experienced support staff
• Inpatient-only position
• 10 shifts/mo (rotating weekends/holidays)
• First Shift 7a-7p with night call
• OHI is a 104-bed referral facility with 24 Cardiovascular ICU beds
• Patient Load: 15 patients/day
• Physician oversees 2-3 APPs during day and 1-2 at night
• Physician will participate in OHI's Ground EMS Unit as needed
• Epic EMR
• Work in a collegial environment in which intensivists, surgeons, ER, Anesthesia and pulmonary work closely to provide the highest quality of patient care.
