Job DescriptionAs a Cruise Relationship Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop and enhance buyer attendance for Seatrade Cruise Global, F&B@Sea, and our growth sectors. This critical role involves extensive research, identification, qualification, and recruitment of buyers within the cruise industry in alignment with our targets and event strategies. Your focus will be on comprehending the buying process as part of our customer insight initiative and ensuring the provision of relevant buyers to meet exhibitor needs across all Seatrade cruise events.
Key Responsibilities:
Buyer Engagement: Research, identify, qualify, and recruit cruise industry buyers, understanding their specific needs and preferences to align with event strategies.
Customer Insight: Gain a deep understanding of the buying process within the cruise industry, contributing valuable insights to our initiatives.
Audience Expansion: Focus on identifying cruise line buyers responsible for purchasing and procurement across all sectors within the cruise industry.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with buyers throughout the event cycles, ensuring their satisfaction and attendance at various Seatrade Cruise events.
Audience Growth: Strengthen existing audience attendance while actively attracting and delivering new audiences across the Seatrade Cruise brand.
Matchmaking: Be responsible for pairing buyers with exhibitors, ensuring relevancy and encouraging their attendance at Seatrade Cruise events.
Requirements:
- Location: Must be located in Florida and able to work remotely from a Florida base.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the success of Seatrade Cruise events by connecting exhibitors with the right buyers, thereby contributing to the growth and prosperity of the cruise industry. đ˘đ
QualificationsNetworking Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to network and build strong relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
Effective Communication: Exceptional telephone etiquette, along with excellent written and spoken English skills, substantiated by a track record of clear and persuasive written communication.
Customer-Centric: A strong customer-focused approach with a genuine commitment to meeting client needs and expectations.
Self-Motivated: Intrinsic motivation to work independently while collaborating with a remote Seatrade Cruise team, spanning locations in the US and the UK.
Organizational Prowess: Strong organizational and administrative capabilities, ensuring efficient task management and project coordination.
Results-Oriented: Goal-driven with the ability to take initiative and deliver results autonomously.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities, including the confidence to collaborate as part of a team while bringing a creative and innovative mindset.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
Pressure Handling: Proven capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with CRM systems.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years' experience in a hosted buyer or relations manager role.
Cruise Industry Knowledge: Experience or knowledge of the cruise industry is advantageous.
Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel as required.
