Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is based in Bellevue, WA and the right candidate will work on a team to perform various mail room tasks (sorting, metering, shipping, receiving, delivering, pickup etc). Responsibilities include but, are not limited to :• Receive and record all regular and priority packages from commercial vendors and the postal service.• Coordinate received items for pick-up and deliver mail and packages to customers throughout the building.• Transport mail and packages to satellite/branch offices throughout the Greater Seattle Area.• Maintain a variety of detailed records and metrics concerning items received and/or delivered using proprietary internal tracking tool.• Prepare daily outgoing domestic shipments using a computerized shipping system and ensure shipping guidelines are adhered to.• Handle time-sensitive material.• Process incoming and outgoing mail.• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.• Adhere to business and safety procedures and guidelines.

Ability to:• Drive cargo van and safely transport packages from one location to another by following an established route and obeying traffic laws.• Inspect deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.• Operate office equipment including computers, handheld devices and production printers.• Pack, label and prep items for safe transport prior to shipping products.• Operate material handling equipment (i.e. dolly, pallet jack, forklift).• Maintain files and records.• Communicate clearly, concisely and courteously verbally and in written format.• Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with team members and customers.• Handle several tasks with frequent interruptions and work with minimal supervision.• Work independently and in a team environment.• Keep work area clean tidy and free from debris.• Sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time; operate assigned equipment; lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel.• Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and understanding of when to engage supervisor regarding potential hazards.• Follow the security and privacy policies, standards and guidelines in order to protect the informational assets of both the company and their customers.• Follow client and Exela's company policies and procedures.• Twist, bend and climb; repetitive motion activities required.• Work in various office environments (e.g. loading dock, production floor, warehouse and shipping/receiving). Occasional exposure to dust, dirt, toner, ink and other environmental factors.

Qualifications:• Valid driver's license• H.S. diploma or equivalent• Ability to read, write and speak English• Typing, word-processing and spreadsheet manipulation

Preferred:

• Previous experience with operating a forklift
• Previous experience as a route/courier driver
