Summary of Internship

The Internship positions provide an opportunity for engineering, science or business students to get hands on experience in supply chain service environment.

Internship opportunities within Service include:

• Service product life cycle management
• Technical Support and proposal development
• Structured problem analysis
• Data analytical and processing
• Customized Service implementation
• Industry trend and best practices

Hiring Location: Rockville MD

Essential Functions:

• Become familiar with the processes required to support end-to-end new project introduction process
• Collaborate with commercial and quotes teams to complete actions effectively
• Collaborate with team members of solutions and product manager to create supporting documentation
• Accept feedback and look for areas of improvements
• Specific tasks will be tailored to the intern's experience level and abilities

Qualifications:

• Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor's degree in a related engineering, life science, or supply chain field
• Preferred majors: Biochemical engineering, Bioprocess engineering, Physics, Biology, Microbiology, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering/science/supply chain major
• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in healthcare supply chain service
• Leadership and team building skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-functional team
• Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
• Desire to contribute and improve design of new and existing supply chain solution & service
• Desire to teach other specialists about technology in area of expertise
• Familiarity with of Microsoft Office Suite, especially strong communication skills with PowerPoint and analytical skills in Excel
