Job Description

We are searching for a Customer Success Engineer who possesses a deep passion for technology and a strong desire to assist and educate our customers. This role will focus on supporting our portfolio clients, with a specific emphasis on enabling smaller districts to operate independently.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our clients utilizing Lightspeed solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with installation, implementation, configuration, and training on Lightspeed Systems solutions.
  • Proficiently explaining how our software integrates with various tools and systems commonly used by clients.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce additional Lightspeed products that align with clients' requirements.
  • Conducting technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase how our products fulfill client needs, especially to an audience of varying technical proficiency 
  • Collaborating with sales team, technical personnel, and the Development Team to understand trends in implementations, as well as how to right-size our resources and processes to support a large client portfolio
  • Documenting onboarding and configuration best practices
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU

We're seeking individuals who possess the following qualities:

  • A solid grasp of technology, including computer networking and system installation.
  • Ideally, hands-on experience with Lightspeed solutions, particularly in educational environments.
  • The ability to establish rapport quickly and build strong relationships.
  • Strong intuition in reading situations and people, adapting responses accordingly.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, delivering presentations to diverse audiences, and demonstrating software products proficiently.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a college degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A positive attitude coupled with a resourceful, results-driven approach.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
