Cyber Security Analyst

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to analyse, identify, rectify & recommend specific improvement measures that help in the security posture of the organization by protecting the sensitive information

Role : Firewall SME

Responsibilities:

6+ years of hands-on experience in implementing ,provisioning, configuring and supporting firewall preferably Palo Alto.
Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer (PCNSE) or Palo Alto Network Security Administrator (PCNSA).
Familiar with Next Gen firewalls such as Check Point and Fortinet.
Familiar with cloud technologies, such as Azure and AWS.

Experience in writing technical documentation including network diagrams.
Monitor and report on compliance with established standards to ensure the organization adheres to agreed policies and standards
Liaising with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources; analyzing, recommending, installing and maintaining software security applications; and monitoring contractual obligations, performance delivery and service level agreements
Preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs
Ensuring that the security design allows all components to fit together and work properly, and monitoring and adjusting the performance of networks
Identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats
Plan firewall integration security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements and adhering to industry standards.
Upgrade firewall systems; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
Proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities and ensuring patching and remediation is planned.
Implementing Site-2-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN
