Job Description

SUMMARY

The Data Center Infrastructure Team is responsible for managing Expeditors essential infrastructure. This infrastructure provides Expeditors the global connectivity, compute power, backups and storage to meet its growing demand to move freight.  As an Analyst, your role will be pivotal in leveraging your analytical skills and business intelligence acumen to craft and refine reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, report creation. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and paginated reports.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Integrate Power BI reports with various data sources, including DBs, and other third-party applications.
• Optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and usability.
• Provide support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
• Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and updates.
• Provide support for infrastructure reporting and capacity planning.
• Ensure data security and compliance with data governance policies.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, visualizations, and paginated reports using Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Good to have knowledge in Logistics domain.
• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Familiar with SAFe methodologies.
