Data Analyst I

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated Data Analyst I to join our New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will responsible for supporting the firms data needs through collecting, analyzing, and reporting data. This role involves maintaining data accuracy, generating insightful reports, and assisting in data-driven decision-making. 

 Job Responsibilities:
In working with our Information Systems Department, you will assist with our data strategy and validation tasks.  You will support the team by identifying data errors and missing information, proposing solutions, maintaining and creating reports in PowerBI and Salesforce, as well as interacting with the IS team and their internal clients as needed.

Additional responsibilities:

• Review and comment on data structure.
• Assist in researching AI and data analytics strategies.
• Review and document our data warehouse.
• Assess our custom budget software developed in Excel.  
• Develop ad hoc reports in Excel as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Management to include but not limited to data entry, creating worksheets, and reconciling transactions.

Job Requirements:

• Gathers data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and relevance
• Identifies and corrects errors or inconsistencies in datasets to ensure data quality
• Uses statistical tools and software to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Creates reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
• Works with team members to support data-driven decision-making
• Maintains detailed records of data sources, methodologies, and analyses processes
• Conducts specific analyses as requested by management or other departments
• Stays updated with the latest data analysis techniques, tools, and industry trend
