The Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for a wide array of provider partner and membership performance reports. This role will be responsible for tracking our financial performance, value-based loading and various ad-hoc initiatives. This role will also work with a broad range of partners within the region, including Stars Improvement, Provider Engagement, and Regional Contracting teams.
The Data and Reporting Analyst will integrate finance data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
- Develops, maintains, and collects structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting on Regional Finance Performance
- Uses Power BI, SQL, and Excel to generate reports and dashboards
- Researches and evaluates innovative analytical methodologies, approaches, and solutions
- Collaborates with analytic and data teams to set objectives, approaches, and work plans
- Interprets and communicates analytic results to analytical and non-analytical business partners

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of data analysis and/or reporting
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
- 1+ year of experience in SQL or SAS - reviewing, analyzing and problem solving queries
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to learn business areas quickly
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools
- Experience in managed care or health care sector
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment
- Prior experience with reviewing documents and extracting the data elements necessary for project build requirements and reporting needs

This position will be on EST hours.

Work-At-Home Requirements
- To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
- Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
- Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$59,100 - $81,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
