Job Description

As a Data Engineer/Cloud Developer at Bosch, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
• Leveraging extensive knowledge of PySpark to process large-scale datasets efficiently. Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain data solutions on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code principles to automate provisioning and configuration tasks, streamlining deployment processes.
• Applying a strong understanding of software development principles, such as SOLID, to ensure the reliability and maintainability of code.
• Working in an agile team setup, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality solutions iteratively.
• Communicating effectively in English and demonstrating strong intercultural competencies to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in developing data pipelines and performing data analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of PySpark for big data processing. Familiarity with Azure Databricks is advantageous.
• Experience working with Azure Cloud Infrastructure
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Previous experience in an agile team environment, with a focus on collaboration and iterative development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
