Who Weβre Looking For (Position Overview):
Spry is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Top Secret clearance and have extensive experience in designing and building complex data models. The candidate should also have familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence to support custom requirements.
What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models.
- Develop and implement machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to meet custom requirements.
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement data-driven solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and algorithms.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Identify and address data-related issues and inconsistencies.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Extensive experience in designing and building complex data models.
- Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms and tools.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
