Role Description & Responsibilities

Our Business Planning and Operations team is looking for a Deal Desk Sr. Specialist . The location for this role is flexible .

As a Deal Desk Sr. Specialist, you will act on large deals to maximize 3DS value both to the customer and to the long-term, global strategy. This role will be responsible for structuring sales proposals and detecting business risks while maximizing alignment with Company policies.

• Act as a trusted advisor and resource on order form creation, quoting and deal structure

• Partner with Sales, Legal and any necessary stakeholders to navigate complex deal cycles and build and negotiate sales proposals

• Provide deal governance to ensure transactions comply with internal policies

• Support deal review at 3DS Global level when needed

• Participate in proposal validation process

• Obtain all required approvals from stakeholders

• Support customer negotiations

• Contribute to opportunity progress reports

• Attend forecast calls and conduct deal review discussions to ensure a complete understanding throughout the sales cycle

• Resolve problems through research and consulting internally to identify solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, MBA a plus

• 8+ years' experience in business operations including negotiation within Sales, Finance or Contracts

• Broad industry experience in T&M, CPG, Industrial Equipment, Lifesciences or High Tech Preferred

• Ability to negotiate in a software environment; RFx and BID experience

• Effective communication skills

• Strong collaborative and team building skills

• Effective Relationship building skills

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Experience in an international matrixed environment a plus
