Design Engineer - Rail Telecom

Job Description

With a strong understanding of the technical and business aspects of railway telecoms, both Operational and Station Information and Security Systems, the Telecoms Designer will participate in multi-disciplinary project teams, providing technical support to the discipline in terms of production and mentoring where required.
Responsibilities
1. Produce deliverables in accordance with client and governance requirements for Telecoms and associated projects
2. Design of Telecoms projects to deliver to defined timescales
3. Understand and lead the systems interfaces between Telecoms and other disciplines, such as Signalling, E&P and Civils
4. Produce Telecoms designs and documentation at a consistent and acceptable level of quality.

5. Work Package Management experience is an added advantage.
