DevOps Engineer II

About the Role

JustAnswer’s Engineering team is seeking a skilled Application Engineer to design implement and maintain our application infrastructure. You’ll ensure system stability security and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role offers professional growth through retrospective learning from production incidents and exploring generative AI applications to enhance your work.

What You’ll Do

·       Manage applications on Microsoft Azure and Hyper-V. ·       Support Rocky 9 Linux and DNS servers. ·       Monitor performance with Dynatrace; manage SSL certificates. ·       Collaborate on app security and optimize performance. ·       Ensure uptime for production and enterprise environments. ·       Provide technical support and ensure compliance. ·       Implement DevOps CI/CD pipelines AI and automation.

What We’re Looking For

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science IT or related field. ·       5-7 years in application engineering. ·       Proficient in Microsoft Azure Server Hyper-V and Rocky 9 Linux. ·       Experience with Dynatrace DNS and domain certificates. ·       Knowledge of TCP/IP networking routers firewalls and VLANs. ·       Skilled in automation (PowerShell Bash) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes). ·       Experience with Microsoft DevOps. ·       Strong problem-solving communication and collaboration skills. ·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ·       Contribute to future application infrastructure strategy.   Good to Have ·       Experience with Jenkins Zabbix Redis MS SQL and NoSQL (Elastic Search). ·       Knowledge of Data Warehousing and EMC SAN hardware. ·       Skilled in MS Active Directory Certificate Services and AI in Application Engineering
