The Job/What You'll Do:

The Digital Product Specialist is responsible for supporting our advisors, sales and service teams in their understanding and use of AssetMark's advisor and investor websites and digital tools. This associate is a member of a team of other digital product professionals whose mission is to produce the best possible client experience for the advisors we serve and their end-clients.

The Digital Product Specialist will use demonstrated troubleshooting skills and techniques in the identification and documentation of potential issues with the features and functionality of our online properties. This person must have a solid understanding of public facing web technologies and their capabilities and limitations, as well as have extensive experience working with end-user feedback about digital applications, with an ability to identify whether issues are related to the user interface design, back-end services or underlying data. This individual will have a proven track-record of working successfully with internal and external users to understand how they are using the applications and what their immediate needs are to be more productive-these needs can relate to existing production challenges as well as ideas for future enhancements to the applications. Additionally, this individual will contribute to the creation of training and promotional materials for our digital applications. Finally, this team member will be responsible for driving usage and adoption of tools through the delivery of presentations (webinars and in-person) to internal and external groups that help users understand the benefits of our tools.

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices: Concord, CA or Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Flexibility to support multiple digital applications simultaneous and make user feedback-driven recommendations for feature and bug prioritization decisions to Digital Platform team
  • Coordinate with digital business leads to understand training needs and communications about the digital features
  • Prepare Sales and Service teams for new digital releases and enhancements by providing training sessions and materials through presentations, recordings, and knowledge articles
  • Work closely with client support and service teams on understanding and prioritizing advisor feedback and enhancement requests for existing applications and functionality as well as troubleshoot any issues reported by these partners
  • Handle advisor trainings professionally to support the relationships managed by the Sales teams
  • Effectively manage a collaborative partnership with the digital business analysts and the digital platform group to ensure that end-user feedback is incorporated into the strategic roadmap, ongoing enhancements and bug prioritization
  • Proactively deliver training and educational presentations to ensure high adoption and satisfaction rates across our digital properties
  • Work with the delivery teams in user acceptance testing to help validate specific fixes or new functionality on our Digital Platform

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proven ability to work with cross functional teams - IT, Digital, Service, Operations, Sales
  • Sales acumen and related communication skills to drive adoption of digital capabilities
  • Strong customer service skills and mindset, motivated by the need to address client issues quickly
  • Knowledge of web and mobile technologies
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Team-oriented, high energy, enthusiastic self-starter committed to delivering high quality work in a collaborative environment

Education & Experience:

  • B.A or B.S
  • 3+ years of working with web/digital/online products in the financial services industry
  • 3+ years of customer service experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience working with remote business partners and development teams

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $75,000-$80,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
