Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: CT, DE, IN, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, WV

This position is within the Enterprise Project Office (EPO) organization. This position is responsible for the leadership and management of digital programs and projects across the Bank. Oversees the complex, strategic coordination of multiple projects within an initiative in order to achieve business goals, including management of overall scope, cost, staffing, and performance. Evaluates program effectiveness and delivers tactical insight through reporting to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Program Management - Develops, implements, and evaluates all aspects of assigned programs including sub-projects and related initiatives. Manages planning, schedule, resources, and risk. Ensures quality and compliance, implementing corrective action where necessary, to ensure cohesion between individual projects and the overall program. Communicates key performance indicators and program metrics to the appropriate parties.
  • Project Management - Responsible for the strategic development, execution, and management of projects. Maximizes available resources while minimizing risk. Ensures high quality results by employing best practices, engaging appropriate expertise, and making administrative decisions. Coordinates a team of associates throughout project life cycle. Conveys clear expectations of project goals. Resolves issues, directs work activities, and keeps team on track with project schedule.
  • Business Strategy - Collaborates with business units and senior executives to understand Bank needs, aligning the goals and purpose of projects to wider strategic objectives. Develops cases to outline and justify program-level initiatives in accordance with organizational planning.
  • Relationship Development - Develops influential relationships with vendors, business leaders, and other key stakeholders in support of program success. Oversees vendor selection, negotiations, issues resolution, and ongoing relationship management for assigned initiatives.

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Project management or Program management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Project management or Program management

Preferred:
  • Proven experience working on Digital Platforms
  • Program Management and Project Management experience
  • Experience working in financial services industry
  • Expert level System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Willing to travel to Raleigh, NC minimum of 4x per year
  • License or Certification Type: PMP certification Preferred, PgMP certification
