Rapportant au Directeur de l'Unité commerciale PHARMA, le Directeur des ventes et du marketing - HTAP, renforcera une équipe de KAMs et un ambassadeur de la marque en renforçant leur autonomie et leur responsabilité pour atteindre des objectifs commerciaux grâce au développement d'une stratégie claire et réalisable.

En plus de construire une stratégie robuste et d'optimiser son exécution pour produire des résultats positifs en part de marché et atteindre les objectifs de ventes pour les patients atteints de l'HTAP, le Directeur jouera un rôle clé dans la performance globale de la division HTAP et la gestion des ressources de service et des dépenses.

Principales activités

Le titulaire sera responsable d'atteindre ou de dépasser les objectifs de performance des ventes pour la division HTAP au Canada. Il ou elle travaillera pour remplir les responsabilités suivantes :

  • Diriger une Ă©quipe marketing dans la collecte d'informations sur le produit et dĂ©montrer une connaissance des produits, de la marque, du marchĂ© et des clients pour crĂ©er un avantage concurrentiel et traduire efficacement la stratĂ©gie mondiale en une stratĂ©gie canadienne rĂ©ussie.
  • Collaborer de manière transversale avec les parties prenantes internes pour dĂ©velopper une stratĂ©gie canadienne stratĂ©gique et obtenir l'approbation aux niveaux de gestion locaux et rĂ©gionaux. Effectuer une Ă©valuation approfondie des options stratĂ©giques, Ă©valuer le ciblage des clients et des comptes pour une position claire, et dĂ©velopper des messages spĂ©cifiques au segment pour optimiser les activitĂ©s promotionnelles et non promotionnelles sur le terrain.
  • Travailler avec les parties prenantes mondiales et rĂ©gionales pour assurer des prĂ©visions de ventes et de stocks prĂ©cises annuellement et Ă  moyen et long terme.
  • ExĂ©cuter la stratĂ©gie annuelle tout en gĂ©rant les dĂ©penses promotionnelles en collaboration avec l'Ă©quipe de direction transversale pour aligner efficacement les prioritĂ©s des activitĂ©s et gĂ©nĂ©rer des ventes et des dĂ©penses dans les limites du budget.
  • Faire preuve de leadership et de collaboration pour crĂ©er une Ă©quipe de direction transversale harmonieuse et performante permettant aux membres de l'Ă©quipe opĂ©rationnelle de prendre des dĂ©cisions et de crĂ©er de la valeur pour les partenaires externes.

Vous êtes le candidat idéal si vous possédez les qualifications suivantes :

  • Au moins 5 ans d'expĂ©rience dans l'industrie pharmaceutique, avec des rĂ©ussites avĂ©rĂ©es dans les ventes, le marketing ou les opĂ©rations.
  • Un baccalaurĂ©at est requis; MBA ou Pharm D est un atout.
  • ExpĂ©rience approfondie dans l'industrie pharmaceutique canadienne, avec un accent sur les maladies rares ou l'HTAP Ă©tant un atout.
  • Connaissance pratique des processus de marketing pharmaceutique ou d'un processus similaire.
  • ExpĂ©rience de la gestion de personnes dans un environnement matriciel transversal.
  • Bilinguisme souhaitĂ© (maĂ®trise du français et de l'anglais Ă  des fins professionnelles)

Job Overview

Reporting to the PHARMA Business Unit Director, the Director of Sales and Marketing - PAH, will empower a team of KAMs and one brand ambassador by strengthening their autonomy and responsibility to achieve commercial objectives through the development of a clear and achievable strategy.

In addition to building a robust strategy and optimizing its execution to produce positive results in market share and sales objectives for patients living with PAH, the Director will play a key role in ensuring the overall performance of the PAH division and the management of service resources and expenses.

Main Activities

The incumbent will be responsible for achieving or exceeding sales performance targets for the PAH division in Canada. She/he will work to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Lead a marketing team in the gathering of product-related insights and demonstrating knowledge of products, brand, market, and customers to create a competitive advantage and effectively translate the global strategy into a successful Canadian strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to develop a strategic Canadian strategy and obtain approval at local and regional management levels. Conduct a thorough evaluation of strategic options, assess customer and account targeting for clear positioning, and develop segment-specific messaging to optimize promotional and non-promotional field activities.
  • Work with global and regional stakeholders to ensure accurate sales and stock forecasts annually and in the medium and long term.
  • Execute the annual strategy while managing promotional expenses in collaboration with the cross-functional leadership team to effectively align activity priorities and generate sales and expenditures within budget.
  • Exhibit leadership and collaboration to create a harmonious and high-performing cross-functional leadership team that allows operational team members to make decisions and create value for external partners.

You are the ideal candidate if you possess the following:

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including achievements and successes in sales, marketing, or operations.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or Pharm.D. is an asset
  • Extensive experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on rare diseases or PAH being an asset.
  • Developed and implemented winning strategies in a complex organization.
  • Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing processes or a similar process.
  • Experience in managing people in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Bilingualism desired (proficiency in French and English for business).
  • Able to travel at 20%
