Summary:
Collaborates with the Development PMs and other functional colleagues to support the development of accurate project budgets in line with Kyowa R&D & Finance policies and governance.
Essential Functions:
•   Ensures application of budget monitoring processes and best practices in collaboration with the respective global development PMs & functions throughout the life of projects.
•   Collates development project budget information to represent an integrated view of development budgets across the project portfolio.Â
•   Provision of standard global integrated budget status reports to health of the integrated development budgets. Â
•   Provides timely communication and escalation of integrated budget risks and associated mitigation plans, as appropriate. Â
•   Maintains budget related documents and provides. development budget analytics and trends to assess budget performance.Â
•   Ensure continuous improvement of budget processes and deliverables to drive to operational excellence.Â
•   Provide training on development project budget-related topics.Â
•   Supports the administration of key development budget meetings for the VP, Global Head Development Project Management.Â
•   Provides on-going administration of tools and technology related to development budget management.Â
•   Collaborate with colleagues and functions across Kyowa Kirin to ensure on-going alignment and efficient development budget operations and operational excellence with a one Kyowa global mindset.
Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, finance, or similar.
Experience
At least 10 years of experience as a budget analyst, financial analyst, business accountant, business operations or similar role in Pharmaceutical Industry. A record of promoting optimized business operations and efficiencies through effective budget planning & management. Knowledge of drug development required. Knowledge of clinical operations a plus. Six Sigma and Project Management experience a plus.
Technical Skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite and accounting applications.
