Summary
The Director of National Accounts is responsible for overseeing the strategic management and growth of our most valuable accounts with a focus on maintaining and expanding key relationships. This role requires a strategic mindset with experience building relationships within the promotional products industry using strong consultative sales techniques, becoming a true partner to clients by delivering innovative solutions that directly benefit their business.
Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), the Director of National Accounts (DNA) collaborates closely with Account Executives and sales support team members to propel revenue growth.

This role is a remote exempt position which requires 30-40% travel to the home office in Philadelphia, client locations, tradeshows and conferences throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with C-level executives and key contacts within each assigned account.
- Uncover, understand, and address client’s needs and challenges with effective solutions.
- Understand and communicate what sets Pop! apart from the competition using our 3 uniques and our brand promise.
- Formulate strategies with national accounts to accelerate revenue growth
- Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts and work with internal teams to strategically position Pop! as the supplier of choice.
- Coordinate with Pop! Promos Inside Sales team to ensure alignment in sales approaches and high quality account management and order processing.
- Partner closely with the Chief Sales Officer, Inside Sales Manager, and Sales team members to contribute to the development and execution of account strategies.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor trends, providing actionable feedback to Pop! Management and Sales teams.
- Work in tandem with the Marketing department to devise strategies that support account acquisition, retention, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required, or alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Strategic Sales or Business Development
- Over 5 years of sales experience in the Promotional Products industry with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Driven, collaborative, team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Candidates with experience in developing and implementing e-commerce business strategies is a plus.
- Strong communicator with a demonstrated track record of writing and presenting effectively to diverse audiences.
- Capable of effectively engaging with individuals at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally, fostering productive interactions.
- Proficient in CRM utilization and well-versed in Google Suite software, with a demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and adapt to other job-related software as needed
- Willingness to travel 30-40% annually
