The pay range is $144,400.00 - $259,900.00
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. The Marketing Capabilities organization aims to attract new guests, strengthen relationships with existing ones, and enhance the ease and joy of their shopping experiences, thereby fostering business loyalty. As a leader within the Customer Data Platform product team, you will be an integral part of defining the product future while leading the present by identifying, developing, and managing critical core capabilities within the Privacy, Preference, and Audience product portfolio. In this role you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the following capabilities:
- Guest Privacy: Ensure Target complies with all privacy laws while fostering greater trust and transparency with our guests regarding the use of their personal information.
- Guest Preference: Help Target gain deeper insights into our guests, their interests, and shopping preferences, incorporating feedback loops to enhance content relevance.
- Audience: Enable audience-driven marketing and personalization by creating robust audiences that significantly scale and enhance the ROI of personalization efforts.
You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product managers while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across product teams. You will be responsible to elevate your collective team's performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.
You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties. You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related business case impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders. This role will act as a thought leader to anticipate and prepare for long term trends and industry shifts in the evolving landscape of customer data platform capabilities and technologies.
It will be critical that you possess an understanding of retail or similar areas, relevant technologies and design principles in order to drive innovative and scalable solutions across multiple pyramids within Target.

About you:
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience in the MarTech, customer data, API development or platform capabilities space,
- Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to tell compelling business and result stories.
- Expert at working in the agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas).
- Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomes.
- Ability to lead and influence a team while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teams.
