Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director, Strategic Finance will work closely with the CFO and other C-level executives on top priorities of the company. This includes understanding operational data to assist the team in “seeing around corners” and forward-thinking planning. The Director, Strategic Finance requires advanced strategic thinking and communication. The Director, Strategic Finance is a member of the WelbeHealth leadership team and facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and with external stakeholders to promote WelbeHealth values, team culture and mission.

Essential Job Duties

• Act as a consultant to the CFO, Executive Team, and Operations Team.
• Dive deep into forward looking areas to help see what’s around the corner. Share what you’ve learned with top company executives (CFO, President, CGO, CEO) to help plan and prioritize initiatives.
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and effectively communicate learnings and insights.
• Work collaboratively with finance and operations teams to provide operators with data and key takeaways.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuations comps.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics or relevant field, professional experience may be substituted.
• MBA, CFA, CPA, or other types of advanced degrees are preferred.
• 2+ years’ supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to maintain and update complex KPI trackers and quickly build detailed financial models from scratch.
• Excellence with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data query/data management tools (Access, SQL, Business Objects).
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Experience working with and presenting to top level executives.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, communicator.
• Ability to process accurate information in a timely manner.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families and interdisciplinary team members.
• Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects.

Salary/Wage base range for this role starts at $160,000.00 -$190,000 DOE + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications
