EFL Teaching Leader - Residential Summer Opportunity - Live onsite

EF is searching for Teaching Leaders this summer. This would be the perfect job to boost your CV by gaining experience in working in an international and academic company.

What will you be doing?
While working at one of our summer camps, you will be responsible for planning and organizing activities for groups of 34 young international students. You will also work with the support of a professional academic team and award-nominated materials to deliver the EF academic program to classroom groups of up to 17 language students. You will be planning lessons that create an inspiring safe and supportive classroom environment where building your students’ confidence in using language is your primary concern. Note this job is both a mix of leading and teaching.

Every day is different from taking students on unique excursions to running epic themed Murder Mysteries while dressed as your favourite film character!

The role also includes admin duties, such as taking registers, meal rotas, curfew duty and welfare duties.

What is required?
To be successful in this role, we need you to be legally able to work in the UK. Therefore, you need to have a UK/Irish passport or a work permit. Please be aware of the new rules regarding the right to work in the UK. To keep up with the standards in our school, you also need to have a C2 English level.

Our Teaching Leader roles are flexible with 2-week contracts or work up to 12 weeks at our larger sites. Summer roles from June, July, and August.

What will you take away?  
After a summer of working as a Teaching Leader, you will expand your creative skills by organizing and executing activities. Working in an academic environment, you will have seen how students grow in their language, make new friends and create summer memories that last a lifetime.

Tasked with being the main responsible for your activity group; you will grow your leadership skills by guiding your group from the unfamiliar to the unforgettable.
