Job Purpose

Our Global Employee Communications team is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic intern to support us in managing and enhancing our digital communication platforms. This is a winter semester opportunity with flexible hours to accommodate class schedules. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for employee communications and exploring the potential digital technologies present to enhance the employee experience.

In this position, you will gain hands-on experience in global employee communications and the latest in employee communications technologies. You will also develop valuable skills in content management, data analysis and employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the deployment of platform enhancements and new features.
• Assist in creating and conducting training sessions for platform managers.
• Develop campaigns aimed at helping employees make the most of the platforms.
• Provide technical support to platform managers and employees.
• Analyze platform metrics to measure platform impact to the business and the employee experience.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving platform performance based on data analyses.
• Support the employee comms team to ensure the platform aligns with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's program, preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications.

• Basic understanding of data analytics and reporting.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Safety

This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner PTC Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
