Endocrinologist to join Established Group near St. Louis, Missouri

BJC Medical Group is seeking an Endocrinologist physician to join their successful group based on the campus of Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Illinois, just 15 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri. Take over an existing patient panel from an established, well-known and retiring Endocrinologist.

Practice Details:

• Ambulatory outpatient position with no expectation for weekday call coverage, weekend call coverage, or inpatient consult service.
• Experienced APP on staff with 15 years general diabetes experience, including over ten years of certified diabetes education experience.
• Overnight calls collected by call agency.
• Ability to expand services based on alignment of provider preference with practice strategy (thyroid biopsy ultrasound, implantable CGMs, etc.).
• Long established history with Medtronic, Tandem, and OmniPod for insulin pump therapy, and Dexcom and Freestyle Libre for glucose monitoring.
• Diabetes educator and inpatient/outpatient diabetic management center housed at Alton Memorial Hospital.
• Employed position with team based approach and experienced/friendly Registered Medical Assistants and Patient Service Representatives.
• Opportunity to teach onsite Family Medicine residents.
• Practice relocating to new Godfrey, Ill. Facility (construction completed Sept. 2023).
