PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting Engineer I – HRIT
Report Creation and Development
• Document the functional and technical requirements for reports
• Develop, test, and deploy new reports based on requirements from Reporting Governance Lead
• Identify security impacts from report requirements and work with HRIT Security Admin to ensure reports are shared in accordance with Cencora’s security model and data privacy rules
• Troubleshoot and resolve assigned technology issues
• Coordinate assigned deliverable schedules to ensure SLA timelines are met
Integration Development and Support
• Document integration requirements and data flows according to Cencora’s design principles and practices
• Develop integration solutions leveraging various delivery models (API, flat file via SFTP, etc.)
• Monitor and resolve integration data or delivery issues
• Perform data loads (extract, transform, load, validate) to support report and integration development where required
• Use appropriate software tools to write queries, design workflows, and develop reports which support the business (BIRT, Studio)

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires some training in fields such as computer science or information technology or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Generally, requires 1-3  years of software development experience, and awareness of Human Resource, Payroll or Financial software applications.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in related field or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years software development experience utilizing such technologies as EDI, Web Services, API, XPATH, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net or other integration technologies
• 1-3 years’ experience with object-oriented programming and webservices
• Familiarity with Workday required. Experience with Workday Studio preferred.
• WebLogic, WebSphere, Web Methods, or other middleware experience
• Conversion or data integration related project experience
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle methodology
• Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to embrace and intake new software and features as requested
