Huntingting Ingalls Industries (HII) is looking for an entry level engineering candidate to support development of the client's analytic modernization capabilities. This position will allow a junior level person the opportunity to learn and grow in many disciplines of systems and software engineering. This position support an intelligence community (IC) mission.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Assist senior engineers in analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Support development of documentation required to support a program's technical issues and training situations. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• 0 years' experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• 0-2 years' experience in the development, engineering, interfacing, integration of hardware and software systems to include an understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, concepts of operation, interface standards, and system architectures.
• Basic understanding of Object Oriented and Structured development methodologies and languages.

Preferred Requirements

• Some experience in an engineering or SW development environment with basic understanding of IC.
• Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
