The Quality Reviewer receives claim information and uses knowledge of water mitigation techniques and estimating practices to critically examine and document the claim file.

Primary Duties include but are not limited to: (Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform essential functions.)

• Review and compare file documentation, mitigation data, and estimates according to the best practices and standards expected by the carrier.
• Review and analyze claim estimate information for accuracy, and proper estimating techniques including but not limited to estimate accuracy, correct category of tasks used, correct tasks for the class and category of loss, blocking deductions,
• Critical analysis of equipment usage, operational time limits, and placement
• Examine data which includes Alacrity and third party, with a critical eye in order to find irregularities or inconsistencies.
• Ask clarifying questions of the contractor to better understand claim details.
• Forward review results to the applicable parties
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Xactimate experience required.
• IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification required.
• IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification preferred.
• IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) certification preferred.
• Claims adjusting experience is preferred.
• Willing to work in a dynamic environment and be a team player.
• Proven success working independently.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative thinker who takes the initiative to get tasks completed - self-organizer.
• Must be computer literate and comfortable with computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task and properly manage their time.

Starting salary range:
$50,000 to $55,000- BOE
