Event Manager
The role of the Internal Communications team is to ensure that the global Adyen team remains informed, connected, and engaged during the next stages of our growth. Therefore, we are looking for a strong event organizer, able to manage individual projects as well as work in a team. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record of event management and able to build great relationships, managing multiple stakeholders and suppliers. You need to have great communication skills, a killer eye for details and a sweet spot for timelines.Â

What you’ll achieve
- Co-lead internal events for our entire global team across 27 offices (e.g. our yearly event week where we bring the entire organization together, monthly virtual all-hands and strategic business events).
- Co-lead Adyen’s investor events (e.g. bi-annual earnings calls and quarterly business updates).
- Fully project manage internal events from concepting to execution in partnership with key stakeholders (Senior Leadership, Investor Relations, HR, Security, Office Management, Employer Branding and in-house Design teams…) as well as external vendors.
- Maintain Adyen’s internal event calendar.
- Continually drive innovation (pre, onsite and post event) to create memorable experiences and to deliver business impact.
- Measuring and reporting on feedback to remain critical and to deliver the best events.
- Implementing and maintaining tools to improve the employee event experience.
Who you are
- You have 2–5 years of working experience in event management and/or productions, preferably at a large scale. Experience in tech is a plus.
- You have excellent project management skills, enjoy getting things done in a fast-paced environment and know how to prioritize.Â
- You thrive in an environment with freedom, and are a real self starter.
- You are able to quickly switch from strategic planning to tactical execution. This is a must to succeed in this role.
- You are a strong communicator and fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- You are comfortable dealing with a range of stakeholders, from large groups to senior figures in the company (e.g. leadership and board members).
- You love to come up with creative solutions and new ways to engage with our global and local teams to make our events an unforgettable experience.Â
