Execution Officer - Palm and Vegoils

Job Description

The role will be part of our G&O execution in Madrid, with main focus on Palm and Vegoils business operations in Italy and Spain, including international operations from Latin America (main), Africa and Asia (second).

Your missions:

Domestic execution in EUROPE mainly Spain, Italy:

• Interactions with storage tanks terminal in Italy & Spain (include managing oil movement to/from terminal, inventory control for each storage terminals, month end inventory check against own system vs terminal stock level)
• Organization of logistics operations (reception of incoming vessels, trucks and train logistics, in-tanks moves, etc.)
• Financial execution of the trades
• Interaction with customers for all administrative and planning tasks
• Support to production of KPIs that help to track and control business operations
  

International execution of Palm mainly North Africa, Gabon, Ivory Coast:

• Based in Madrid, in direct interaction with EU commercial team, support Singapore-based execution team in organizing, following, executing, international bulk trades.
  

Other domestic Execution:

• On demand support to Execution task performed inland Spain related to Palm business
• Support to other Grains and Meal Execution activities as per other members of Spanish execution team
• Contact with European Storage terminal to understand and facilitate the transactions of our operations

Main accountabilities:

• To manage execution of Palm oil distribution and logistics in Italy
• To support international execution of Latin America Palm oil flows to Spain and Europe
• To support Singapore execution team in execution of Palm flows to Spain and Europe
• Communication skills to facilitate the success of the operations with the customers

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Diploma in Logistics or other relevant discipline
• At least 4 years of experience on a similar role
• Preferred experience in Italian domestic execution
• Preferred exposure to Palm, biodiesel and/or other vegoil commodity market
• Preferred experience with logistic operations (freight operations, tank farms, bulk transportation)
• Knowledge in Incoterms and International trade execution
• Knowledge in domestic commodity flows execution
• Knowledge in logistics and operations management
• Good understanding of both import and export documents
• Knowledge inn Excel (pivot table level minimum), accounting systems, local trading systems
• English, Spanish fluent; Italian is a plus
