We have an excellent opportunity for a trusted Executive Assistant to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract for maternity cover.
In this crucial role, you'll bring your expertise in communication and relationship-building to support our Chief Financial Officer.

Job Description
To provide proactive, effective, and efficient administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer, including but not limited to:
- Be an integral part of the CFO’s Senior Finance team, including attending relevant team meetings
- Advanced, proactive diary management, with a good understanding of competing priorities.
- Preparing the CFO for attendance at meetings including the assembly of documents, papers and Exco and Board submissions as required.
- Complex and high-volume email management, including responding to emails on the CFO’s behalf and escalating important matters to the CFO for urgent attention.
- Meeting management, including arranging meetings, producing, and distributing agendas, action items and follow ups and associated papers as required and to the timeframes required.Â
- Ability to follow up without prompting and to stay one step ahead, anticipate requirements and ensure tasks are seen through to completion.
- Setting up and managing video and teleconferencing.
- Creating presentations for meetings, in line with company policies.
- Coordinating appointments, conferences & functions including catering, venue arrangements and other logistics.Â
- Interaction with relevant internal key stakeholders on matters.
- Maintaining confidence and discretion in all matters without exception.
- Organising travel including visas, flights, trains and accommodation when required.
- Ad-hoc support for the Senior Finance team during peak periods such as Year End / Half Year Results
- Provide holiday cover to CEO
Qualifications
- Experience of working as an Executive Assistant to an executive board member of a large organisation.
- Proactive, independent, highly motivated self-starter with an eye for detail.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to organise and coordinate multiple projects at once.
- Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
- Professional and strictly confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business at all times.
- Effective operator, well organised, gets things done well and with good pace.
- Has the ability to build relationships across the business.
