What you’ll do as an Experienced Luxury Travel Advisor:

• Consult and collaborate with customers while planning their travel needs, domestic and international, by phone or in person.

• Research destinations/tour programs to meet client desires and expectations.

• Design and sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, tours, custom land itineraries, air, car, and hotel. To help you close sales, we offer a full range of domestic and international travel products with our Virtuoso partners, plus exclusive Provident Travel client benefits.

• Comply with all ARC regulations and ACA policies and procedures in the collection and handling of assets.

• Provide first in class customer service and problem resolution, prepare and review invoices, final itineraries and documents for distribution to clients.

• Other duties as assigned.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 5 years of experience as a retail travel agent or industry related experience with an established book of business preferred.

• Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation strongly preferred.

• Ability to sell domestic and international leisure travel from airline tickets to full vacation packages. 

• Demonstrate a passion for travel and deliver high touch customer service standards. 

• Sales driven and goal oriented with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

• Excellent verbal/written communication, time management and organizational skills.

• Detail oriented, ability to multi task and work under pressure.

• Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications and internet proficiency and ability to learn and use multiple programs/systems.

• Knowledge of  Sabre or similar GDS system.

• Expertise in sales and relationship building.
